PROVIDING ONE-TO-ONE THERAPY
To get a better understanding of your personal needs, we make sure to arrange face-to-face meetings so we can fully assess the difficulties that you are currently facing. The aim of these meetings is to have an open and honest discussion where we can explore ways to improve your overall mental and physical wellbeing.
All our one-to-one appointments take place at dedicated therapy centres in a range of locations within County Durham, Newcastle, North Tyneside and Teesside. We also offer online therapy and home visits on request.
CAT is a talking therapy which focuses on relationhips and how repeating patterns (often from childhood or earlier
in life) impact on current difficulties. CAT integrates different psychological theory to offer deep understanding and
options for long-term change and psychological well-being,
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a talking therapy that focuses on how your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect your feelings and behaviour, and teaches you coping skills for dealing with different problems.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Mindfulness
ACT is a psychological approach that uses acceptance and mindfulness, together with commitment and behaviour change strategies, to increase psychological flexibility and improve overall wellbeing.
EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITISATION REPROCESSING (EMDR)
EMDR is an effective treatment for trauma involving the reprocessing of upsetting past memories through safe eye movements guided by the therapist.
